UFSCOC Wall Street Whiz© Kids Program

The Urban Financial Services Coalition Omaha Chapter, Inc. (UFSCOC) and The Urban Financial Services Coalition Omaha Foundation, Inc. (UFSCOF) in partnership with local high schools offer the Wall Street Whiz Stock Market Simulation Program. The program is an innovative and interactive stock market simulation of the "Crash of 1929.” The Simulation captures the period from April 1, 1929 to March 31, 1930, and reviews the history of Wall Street, the elementary beginnings of the stock market investing, basic modern investment principals and concepts, economic indicators, institutions and functions of government. In the end, students will understand the "Pulse of the Market" and the climate in which all businesses operate. Our local program currently allows a select group of students from local high schools to enhance their basic knowledge of the stock market and related principles while competing for mutual fund account prizes.
