The Urban Financial Services Coalition Omaha Chapter, Inc. (UFSCOC) and The Urban Financial Services Coalition Omaha Foundation, Inc. (UFSCOF) in partnership with a wide variety of community groups, delivers a broad based Financial Literacy Program to under served communities for an introduction to and better understanding of: savings, credit, financial terms, and products and services. The curriculum used for this program is derived from the FDIC Money Smart Financial Education Program. The community partnerships formed to achieve the above mentioned goals result in a program of empowerment for those who have traditionally not been included in this band of communication and consequential offerings. The UFSCOC has consistently and successfully leveraged its existing network of local resources to make mainstream financial products and services more attainable for our target market.
